In this year’s advanced educational program of the Dutch Forum for Architecture and Urban Development, FASadE, architect Gemma Koppen reflects in her lecture on the question of the architectural monoculture in hospital construction on the basis of historical and current findings and developments, which is one of the results of her nationwide ‘Research by Design Study’ on patients’ perception of university hospitals.
