In the series ‘architecture and psychology’, the technical university of delft compiles lectures and workshops that present the potential and challenges of a psychologically based design theory. The series is an initiative of the student representatives of the faculty of architecture, who have issued a manifesto lamenting the under-representation of the human sciences. In their lecture ‘designing healing environments’, Gemma Koppen and Tanja C. Vollmer present and discuss the design practice of kopvol architecture & psychology.
